By Karisma from Fairfield, ME on 07/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, High Quality, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Comfort-Oriented, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Casual, Classic, Sexy Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved the color, details, and thumb loops. Unfortunately, if was a little short for my long torso, the sleeves were strangely wide (which I can see now in the picture) around the bicep, and the material stood away from the body, sort of like wearing a bell. I wanted so badly to like this sweater, but couldn't quite justify the odd fit.
By bankbreaker from Vancouver, Canada on 01/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Versatile Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Travel Describe Yourself: Athletic chic Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was disppointed to see that the wool is very scratchy and itchy. Love the thumb holes, but I much prefer Icebreaker shirts with thumb holes. Merino wool isn't itchy at all.
By snow bunny from Mt. Hood, OR on 12/27/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Athletics, Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Skiing Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this sweater as a layering piece for cross country skiing. It's warm, breathes, and looks great! I really love the thumb holes, just perfect for sliding into a jacket!
Great if you have really long arms By NAUT from Maine on 12/19/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Warm Cons: Sleeves WAY too long Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This sweater is warm and a nice design - I like it, but the sleeves are WAY too long. I have normal length arms and the sleeves on the large are about 5" too long for me. I think it is meant for mountaineering where you pull the sweater down to your knuckles and insert your thumb into the hole at the end of the sleeve. I had to tuck the end of the sleeve under just so I could wear the sweater.
By lindacs from Seattle wa on 12/18/2007 Pros: Attractive Design, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Fashionable, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, School, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, Practical, Stylish Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The picture of the sweater does not do it justice - it's so much more. My high-school daughter bought this, unsure if it would be cool enough for school. What sold her on it, in addition to all of its typical qualities, was that the sleeves have a little thumb slit so that the end of the sleeves are worn over her hands. She loves this sweater - and will probably buy some in other colors.
