Comments:
I've used this jacket for skiing at a-Basin and it has the right warmth to weight ratio and fit for aggressive alpine skiing. Pit-zip should prove useful when it warms up. Good pockets inside and out for gear and a good functional hood.

Waist length, which is not the norm these days. But, sleeves are long enough and it's more substantial than just a shell. For the $, great purchase!

A great ski jacket with a good range of motion. Not sure how it will handle extreme cold as it's fairly lightweight. Comfy in the current 20 degree weather.

Comments:
THis jacket is built really well, but I bought this jacket as a ski coat and I returned it because it was way too short. I read other reviews that said the same thing but i have a short torso and thought it might work. However this is not the case. This a great jacket for casual winter use but do not buy it if you plan on using it as a ski jacket.

Comments:
For myself, the most impressive thing about this jacket is the fit. I'm a big guy (XXL, size 50 to 52). I've tried Northface waterproof shells (XXL) but they have always been too small (too tight in the shoulders and upper arms). Mountain Hardwear's XXL fits great with plenty of room and comfort.

Comments:
Great jacket. Very warm and comfortable. The large fits me perfect. The jacket may be a little short in length for most larges but that is what fits me best. More of an athletic fit. Zippers are a little small but I am sure they will be fine. Monkey fur inside is ultra soft, warm and cofortable. Have not used jacket for skiing but I think it will work well.
