Lenght stops at your waist. It is a great jacket for snowsports and casual wear. My new favorite jacket!
By Frequent Buyer in Santa Fe from Santa Fe, NM on 12/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm very pleased with the quality, features, and performance of this jacket -- the "furry" pile lining is excellent and provides plenty of warmth; the outer shell is tough and water-proof; the jacket is great over a single layer or more - depending on the weather conditions. This jacket will be useful for snowshoeing (for me), outdoor fun in the winter, shoveling snow if needed, and wearing about town for casual activities. It's very practical, good looking and not bulky -- good things!
By lv2clmb from Bellingham,WA on 12/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Skiing Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket to replace my old ski jacket and have a nice jacket for the colder weather. The torso length could be a little longer, but it is a great jacket, warm, stylish and well made.

By sk from Utah on 11/25/2008 Cons: zipper can be a pain Best Uses: Cold Weather, Skiing, Snow sports Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket has a short-cut style. As long as that is what you are looking for, it's great. The powder skirt keeps the cold and snow out and the Primaloft is warm. The sleeve length is generous, so that should not be a problem with having a shorter jacket. Zippers on the internal pockets are wimpy and snag easily in the Primaloft. Why make a great jacket and put wimpy zippers on it?
Great Jacket........Way too short....... By Trev from Minneapolis, MN on 11/21/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Great jacket with many features, but way too short. Don't plan on biking with this jacket unless you intend to show off your lower back. Great jacket.........strange fit.

Nice Construction- MH Quality By Rwuff from Loveland,CO on 06/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice jacket, typical Mtn Harware. Primaloft seems to be mainly in the arms with a fury fleece type of lining through the body. For very cold weather you'd probably want another fleece layer. Expect more of a early winter/later spring weight. Plenty of pockets, detachable hood. Another reviewer questioned the front length but this one is only 1" shorter than my main ski jacket (Cloudveil ZeroG) so I'll give it a try.
By Mountain Man from Fort Collins, CO on 06/05/2008 Pros: Durable, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Short at back, Shorter in Front Best Uses: Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Skiing and snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This product is perfectly made with all the bells and whistles you could ask for, however, it is entirely too short. I got an XL thinking that might help, it did not. I am 6'2" and thought it was just me, so i returned it and got the Mountain Hardwear Torque jacket instead (in my natural size, L). The Torque is the way to go if the Tonnerre was too short!!! If you have a short torso though, go with the Tonnerre!
