Comments:
Got this coat last minute before a skiing trip to Colorado. While temperatures and wind chill were MUCH lower than expected, this coat kept me very warm and dry the whole time. The only things that keep this coat from getting 5 stars are the zippers(which don't work very well), and the fact that the liner doesn't zip into the shell. Columbia skipped the zip-in liner to save weight, but really, how much weight would one zipper add? This didn't impact performance on the slopes, but it does make the coat look kind of funny when not zipped all the way up.

Due to the removable liner this coat is great for any winter sport. I took it Nordic Skiing at night and it kept me warm and well ventilated. I am also taking it snowboarding soon and expect the same great result

Comments:
As others have noted the jacket is very short. I am 6'4" and ordered the 2XL thinking it would give me enough room being I can usaully get away with a regular XL. No luck - too small. Good looking just too short.

Comments:
I ordered this jacket for my significant other. He and I live in New Jersey and this winter is supposed to be extremely cold. This was his Christmas gift. Based on his chest size, the sizing chart stated he would need a medium so I got him a large because I know his frame. When we received it, the large was too small in the shoulders. I exchanged the large for the extra large which was a perfect fit. He loves the jacket. The construction is great and I would definitely buy it again. Sierra's customer service is also great. I would definitely shop with Sierra again.

it would have been a great jacket but it seems way undersized for the labeling. Columbia is usually right on the mark.

Bought for my son who is 13 and growing rapidly. Wanted a jacket for the ski season that would keep him warm, allow him movement and be stylish. This meets all the requirements. Columbia isn't leading edge fashion, but it looks good.

Comments:
Nice parka, looks good, very stylish with minimal brand signage and no tacky bright contrasting colors. Warm without being hot, very wind resistant. Great sealed zipper doesen't let wind through. Seperate inner parka and outer shell makes it more versatile. Cons are that it is a bit short in length, it feels smaller than it's size and it feels ike it could tear easily.

Comments:
The jacket may run a little small if you plan to wear lots of layers, but you certainly don't need to wear a sweater under it! The only thing its missing is a way to zip the lining into the shell -- putting it on requires 2 zip-ups!

Not a big fan of the connections between the outer and inner shells, so I usually just leave the two unconnected. I love the fact that they are separable; this makes the jacket very versatile.
