By old but active from Beaufort SC on 08/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Cons: Best for me without socks Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Comments: This is my 2nd pair of Acorn Mules. The 1st pair are still in good condition. Even great shoes wear out. The shoes have a good sole and good are for cooler and damp weather.
By Pokey from Fish Haven, ID on 04/01/2008 Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Uncomfortable Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The insole for these has spots that cause discomfort so I removed them and added new inserts. I kept them because they were so inexpensive - otherwise I would have returned them.
By Grad Student Desk Jockey from Ithaca, NY on 03/24/2008 Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have a hard time finding leather slippers with cushioned soles but these have been excellent so far. My instep is somewhat high, so these felt a little tight across the instep for the first few days, but the leather has adjusted to my feet they now fit very well. The removable innersole is high quality, similar to the innersoles found in quality athletic shoes, and comfortable to walk in.
Nice style but sloppy fit By Lisa from Berkeley, CA on 03/11/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Cons: Fall Off Easily, Heel section way too wide Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would have liked this product except the heel cup of the shoe was too wide so the shoe kept falling off.
A very successful purchase. By Maria Theresa from Tallahassee, FL on 12/27/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Casual, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoes were a gift for my husband and after wearing them for a couple of days he told me that they were the best and most comfortable pair of slippers he has ever had. He said the footbed is not too soft but firm, supportive and very comfortable. He also liked the color (black), the style, and the nubuck material. With this pair of slippers, Acorn certainly lived up to their reputation.
By Mama on the coast from Downeast Maine on 12/19/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my husband, and he really likes them. He has several pairs of slippers because one is always getting lost, but he actually will look specifically for these. They are great for cozy evenings by the fire...and let him go out to the barn to get wood without changing shoes!

He doesnt like to wear socks with them and his only complaint about these is that the lining makes his feet hot.
Otherwise he says these are very comfortable. They are flexible and soft.
