It is lightweight yet warm for a cool start to your day or workout. you can stash it in your bag or locker without it looking like it was afterward.

a small issue is that you need to wear a smooth underlayer - not cotton-y or fleece - so that the zip top will slip on and off easily

another great MC running top! By TXRunGirl from Houston on 12/17/2007 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: layered this with my no-chill top and my MC tights, and I was ready for a half-marathon in the cold! I am loving my MC running clothes this season -- they are so comfortable, and I'm not getting any chafing on my 20-mile runs -- that's really nice!
