Recommending to family and friends By Bug Lady from South Dakota on 10/17/2009 Cons: Elastic is a little tight Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the warmest slippers I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot. I love them! It almost feels like they have a built in heater. The elastic around the top is a little snug on me, but it keeps them from being sloppy and from coming off too easily. I would not say it's a 'con'.
By Way too big foot, I guess from Chicago, IL. on 10/15/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear a size 9. this slipper is supposed to fit 9.5 - 10.5 Not only were my toes touching the front of the slipper, they were curled under.
By Popsicle Toes from Burlington, VT on 10/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you have cold feet, you will not find a more perfect slipper. They are warm and the memory foam is incredibly comfortable as well.
By Guess I'll have to call myself Big Foot from Chicago, IL. on 10/08/2009 Best Uses: None - they're too small Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was disappointed. The minute I took them out of the box I could see they were too small. I wear a 9. I got an XL which is supposed to fit 9 1/2- 10 1/2. My toes not only touched the end of the slippers but were jammed in. And there's no larger size than XL. It's weird. I never have trouble fitting into shoes/boots.
So soft and wonderful for hardwood floor By Dar from Upstate New York on 10/06/2009 Pros: Can be washed and dried, Comfortable, Cute, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging, Ok for mailbox Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Highly recommend these slippers for the cold months. Nice cushion feeling and very warm. As mentioned, if you have hardwood flooring, good slippers are a MUST. I have the fleece Acorns as well--but when the Adirondack weather gets super-cold, I'll be wearing the down slippers while the others are in the wash.
Super warm but dislike the lining By ahimsamonkey from Portland, OR on 09/23/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These appear to be durable & are very warm. I dislike, however, the stiff inner lining & the fact that I can feel stiff seams all around the perimeter of the inside. Maybe I am between sizes (wear a 7 1/2, bought a Medium in this) because a larger size would probably not have the seam allowances rubbing against my feet. But pretty sure the Large would be too big.
