So soft and wonderful for hardwood floor By Dar from Upstate New York on 10/06/2009 Pros: Can be washed and dried, Comfortable, Cute, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging, Ok for mailbox Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Highly recommend these slippers for the cold months. Nice cushion feeling and very warm. As mentioned, if you have hardwood flooring, good slippers are a MUST. I have the fleece Acorns as well--but when the Adirondack weather gets super-cold, I'll be wearing the down slippers while the others are in the wash.
Super warm but dislike the lining By ahimsamonkey from Portland, OR on 09/23/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These appear to be durable & are very warm. I dislike, however, the stiff inner lining & the fact that I can feel stiff seams all around the perimeter of the inside. Maybe I am between sizes (wear a 7 1/2, bought a Medium in this) because a larger size would probably not have the seam allowances rubbing against my feet. But pretty sure the Large would be too big.

By Mother of two from Duluth, MN on 04/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Warm Best Uses: Cold floors, Comfort, Home, Lounging, Running to the mailbox Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these slippers for many reasons; cushioned hard soles, extremely warm, not slippery down the stairs and durability. These might be a bit too warm for southern climates. We have winter six months out of the year up here in Duluth, MN, so they are great for me. These slippers are not dainty or pretty, but they are very practical. Also, I wear a size 8 and the Large (8-9) is a bit too big. My friend who wears a size 10 fit into them nicely. Otherwise, very happy with my purchase!
Warm, but maybe too warm? By Ms Miltown from Milwaukee, WI on 04/07/2009 Best Uses: Cold floors, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was searching for a comfortable, durable, and warm house slipper as I spend a lot of time in mine - cooking, cleaning, going down to the basement.
I like the durable sole of the Acorn, these can be worn out doors, and they are certainly warm. My issue is that maybe they're almost too warm. I have to wear them with socks always, otherwise the top of my foot will sweat inside the slipper, which is kinda gross. They do not have as much sole comfort as I thought they would. Also - with the ankle cuff, these aren't exactly slip ons; I find myself having to reach down to pull the ankle cuff up around my ankle.
Great slipper for cold environments and floors, however.
Comfortable, functional slippers By San Antonio Rose from Cincinnati, Ohio on 03/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband bought these Acorn slippers for my birthday and I am very pleased with them. They are comfortable, durable, and I can wear them outdoors without worrying about drops of water soaking through. The only thing I would ask is that you remove the Acorn symbol from inside the slippers. I can actually feel the sewn-on trademark against the soles of my feet. You already have the symbol on the bottom of the slippers and that's about all the advertising you need. Thank you for designing a practical, comfortable product!!!
By Lorraine from Rye, NY on 01/29/2009 Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my son, who is a size 4-5. He could not get the womans small (size 5-6) halfway on his feet. Had to return them.
