Not for the garden. Full fit around the foot and over the arch. Good toe room.Size 8 (only one available) is closer to 71/2, but stretch of design is very comfortable. I have worn these every day for over a week in total comfort and they look very good. A quality product.
By bakery lady from MN on 12/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i am a woman with wide feet so i bought these for myself. usually take a size 8 in women's; thought a 7 in men's would be plenty roomy, but actually they were very tight in the toes. so much that i had to send them back. waiting to get the larger size. other than the size issue, the slippers are great! almost like a comfy shoe! great for stepping out for mail, papers, etc. could even wear them to the store (they're that nice!) and i don't think anyone would suspect that you are wearing slippers!

I'm using them as slippers inside the house. When I come in the door my shoes come off and these go on. They look and feel more like a slipper than a shoe. My last pair of Acorn slippers took a lot of abuse and lasted a long time. I expect these to last even longer.
