The "faux fur" is not fur- more like crushed velvet like another reviewer stated, and I prefer this.
I am not sure how it will hold up to washing.. price was good for this piece.

I wouldn't call the trim FUR, but more of a crushed velvet. Mostly dressy, but the right person could pull it off in a casual setting.
