By ncmack111 from brevard, nc on 11/04/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Chilly runs, Running Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i wear a 36 waist in pants, and ordered the large....way too big. to be honest, i have no butt, but i do have lager legs, so they looked saggy and droopy on me. i called, and in typical sierra trading style, i was hooked up with an exchange right away, no questions asked. the pants work great on chilly days. i was nervous that the large would be too tight, but i was very wrong. unless you have a really large butt, order a size down.
By Curmudgeion from Sequim WA on 08/13/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual cycling, Casual Wear, Gym, Lounge wear, Running, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: On the the Pro Side, these pants are very suitable for my needs: Commuter cycling, and casual lounging wear around the house. The snug ankle fit precludes problems with bicycle chain, and the loose fit allow non-binding, comfortable cycling on recumbent bikes and trikes.
On the down side, the loose fit looks rather baggy and sloppy when not on the bicycle,i.e., shopping or post office stops.
By Skugon-rhan from Plymouth, WI on 04/23/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Cons: Too much like tights Best Uses: Competition, Gym, Running Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for a cold morning run when shorts aren't quite enough.
I would buy this product again and again By D the Runner from Beloit, WI on 03/20/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Pants are great! I'm always searching for a comfortable pair of running pants for colder days and these have met my needs. Looser than tights, these are still slightly snug and won't result in everyone at the store staring at you as you walk by after a run.
By None from Cin town on 03/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They're lighter than expected, but they fit well and are comfortable. Go with the heavier model if you want something for cold weather.
Product exactly as advertised. By mg from South Bend, IN on 03/09/2008 Pros: Allows Free Movement, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I run outdoors year around. Winter weather temps are often in the 20's or teens, sometimes with stiff winds. It is important to have clothing that protects against wind and wetness, but is not heavy or restrictive. These pants are lightweight but adequately protective. The sizing is good as well.
By Jack from Jim Thorpe, PA on 12/31/2007 Cons: Length longer than stated Best Uses: Backpacking, Cold Weather, Running Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these to replace my Sporthill Original Pant which I have used since 1985. These pants fit the bill for cold weather running, backpacking and cross country skiing. The wind does not seem to penetrate and I do not over heat during high activity. The inseam is advertised as 29". I think they might be an inch or 2 longer. Overall, excellent product and value.
