I bought a pair for my 14 month old who is measured at a size 6. These boots run very small and narrow. I would have to buy at least a size 7.5 to even attempt to put them on his foot. The elastic band at the top does not adjust so trying to squeeze a foot into the narrow opening is nearly impossible. I even removed the boots insulated insert, put that on his foot first then tried to put on the boot to no avail. The top is just too narrow and long for a small child to navigate his foot through.
The boot seems warm and well constructed but the size does not correspond to the standard toddler sizes. These boots are not practical for small children!!!!!!

Great boot! Hard to get on a toddler. The boots are well made with a fairly flexible sole and appear to be very warm and cozy. (She's 1 1/2, she can't really tell me for sure!)
The only caveat is that the big elastic band on the top of the ankle is fairly tight. She has protested mightily about half the times we have put them on. Once her foot is all the way in the boot, they are fine. Great boot...just wish the elastic was adjustable or cinch-able.

They run small - we had to return and get the next size up. Also, entry/exit is difficult.
