Excellent shoe for narrow feet By Campus Walker from Boulder, CO on 04/14/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Classic Design, Durable Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very solid shoe that requires substantial break-in. I think it will be very comfortable once it's broken in, and it'll last a long time. I particularly like the lug sole, which makes it a good shoe to wear to work in bad weather. It'll get you through snow and rain and still look presentable.
By wide foot from Louisiana on 04/03/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: prior H.S.Trask shoes produced in the U.S.A were great. This same model produced in Brazil is sized differently. Prehaps that is why they are being sold as closeouts.
