By Van from Portland, OR on 04/03/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Classic Design Best Uses: Casual Wear, Formal Occasions, Going Out, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered the 2EE but there is no way these are wide shoes. 8 1/2 wide is what I always get but these were way too narrow. I returned and got a full size larger 9 1/2 2EE; as expected they fit width wise (all 9 1/2 D fit my width) but alas they are uncomfortably long; I'll be returning these for a refund.
If you can get ones that fit I'm sure they will be great shoes, well made & comfortable.

Excellent quality, but too narrow By jpy from Northern IL on 03/29/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Tried to break in around the house, but although a 2E, seem more of a D width.

These are no exception. Love them!
By Mike the accountant from Illinois on 03/27/2008 Pros: Classic Design, Comfortable Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I own several HS Trask shoes, including these. I love the style and comfort. The only downside to the shoes is the rubber soles wear out quickly, especially for a heavier guy like me. Kind of ironic that a buffalo hide upper that could last forever is paired with a sole that wears pretty fast. These are almost as cheap as having an old pair resoled, so I'm buying more.
By bisonfan from tacoma, wa on 03/26/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Formal Occasions, Going Out, Work Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are good shoes, have had several pairs. the tops still look good after the bottoms have worn smooth. I haven't had any pairs re-soled but the tops would probably outlast several soles. However, don't expect them to offer broken-in comfort the moment you slip them on. they definitely require some break-in time. wear them around the house for a hour or two at a time for a few days. they will loosen up. i find that they run a bit narrow.
