Great looking shoe but too small By Thrifty One from Ramstein, Germany on 11/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Stylish, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shoe one size smaller based on the comments about it being big. However, it was true to size on my foot, and therefore, too small. I am exchanging it. Everything about it looked great, though, and I look forward to wearing them once I get the right size.
By Toastie Toes from Maine, USA on 11/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Well Made Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn acorn boots for years. They are part of my daily life...sooo comfortable!! I have three pairs of these boots. Wear them at home, shopping, soccer games, out for casual bite to eat. Be careful when you order they run big and do stretch out quite a bit.
I love them, they are so warm and comfy. Wonderfully warm and cozy By bobcat from Anchorage, Alaska on 11/12/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Warm, Well Made Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Alaska, in a house that has cold floors in the winter. I bought these to keep my feet warm when they get cold at times in my regular indoor shoes, and they are fitting the bill perfectly. I wear fairly substantial wool socks with them, not without socks as is recommended with these type boots. I would not wear them "out and around," unless I was going to be exclusively outdoors, as my feet would get much too hot; but I see other people doing it!
Good quality - size runs a bit large By Doc from State College, PA on 11/12/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very warm and comfortable boot. Use it for wearing around the house in the winter time - and also for going out for paper, wood for fire that sort of thing. Would recommend to friends.
Comfortable and warmfor cold winter By DMH from Anchorage, AK on 11/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these for my husband and son. They both love them. We live in Alaska and they're perfect for either scuffing around the house or slipping on to run to the store or hockey rink.

warm, but ill fitting for women By comfy feet from Albuquerque, NM on 11/09/2008 Cons: Don't hug anklesslideoff, Not well made Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear women's 8.5 or 9 and ordered a nine. Because Acorn are not tailored at the ankle area though the foot bed feels right my feet slide up and down so I wind up clomping around. I think this is also b/c they are unisex design. the result is they are around the house wear. warm and wonderful. but not great for walking around.
also the soles are not well attached.
I would hesitate to recommend these By Mary from Boulder, CO on 11/09/2008 Sizing: Feels true to size Comments: I purchased these boots after getting a pair of Acorn booties for around the house. My intention is to quickly pull these boots on in cold and snowy weather for a trip to the yoga studio or stop at the market. It hasn't (yet) been cold enough to do that but it will be very soon. What I have noticed is that these boots are very warm and comfortable but they are lacking in any kind of support for the foot. There is zero arch support and no or little structure on the upper part of the boot. So it's like a house slipper for outside. Also, it'd be hard to argue these are cute. For me personally this means I can't walk around in them for long to say take the dogs for a walk, though I can use them to make that dash to the store.
By Geomom from Springfield, MO on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Well Made Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got for slippers and to satisfy my craving for a pair of the short Uggs. I got my mom a pair too. They are as warm as down and have a hard sole so you can run outside or to the store if you want to. The heel slips (because they are unisex)so they are too loose for a lot of walking how I wear them without socks.
