After walking in them only a few minutes, the top of my feet were sore. Perhaps over time they would have loosened, but it was too painful for me to break them in.

The slippers were what I expected accept for the stiffness of the soles and the fact that they aren't "sticky". Maybe I am just spoiled by the secure grip of Merrell shoes - I usually wear a pair as "slippers". I even took a tumble down the stairs in these so I am not really wearing them as much but they are warm so will be useful this winter.

Extremely comfortable and light-weight, warm but can be worn all year because sheepskin breathes.
Best of all, they last for years. Aside from the new pair I just purchased, I ordered a second pair for future wear.

My last pair my pug chewed the toe out of one and I do craft projects and gardening projects and they are full of paint. But,they wash well. Dispite all the wool being worn smooth on the foot pads, they are still warm. The soles are such that they can be worn in doors and out. Everyone says I should put them in a shadow box. I can't seem to give them up. I am glad that when that times comes I have a new pair.
