By Hiker from RI on 06/13/2009 Pros: Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are good quality sheepskin. The laces are "real" -- you can tighten or loosen them.
Some people say these run small. They do run smaller than one catalog competitor's, but I felt those ran large. I'm a half size and with these, I needed to order down.
These slippers only have one problem: The raised portion of the sole. Look at the "Sole View" provided. See the wedge under the heel? It's 1/4" thick! But it doesn't go all the way to the edge of the heel. This made the slippers feel unstable.
Worse, they just...made my heels hurt. I tried wearing them all day, and by the evening my heels hurt. When I got up the next morning, my feet felt fine; I put on these slippers, and within a few minutes my heels hurt again. I changed to a different pair of slippers and after a few minutes my heels felt fine. The soles need to be redesigned (probably were, and these are the old version). Will have to return.

These slippers are OK but....... By Davichoverde from San Salvador de Jujuy, Argentina on 04/08/2009 Pros: Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Cons: Heel low and too loose Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I think these slippers were made with mostly lounging in mind. I'd NEVER go for a hike (ha!) or even around the block wearing them. The good news first. They're warm and the front fits nicely. Now for the bad news. The back walls and heels are made too low and they slip a bit too much for my comfort. Hmmmm. Perhaps that's why they're called "slippers"? In spite of my warm toes, my ankles stay very cold. I'll have to wear wool socks to cover that part. Other than those weak points, they're OK. I'll keep them since they were so very low-priced and hard to pass up.

By Rob from Muskegon, MI on 03/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Sole, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging, Outdoors Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You can't go wrong with these slippers. These are the best slippers at the most reasonable price that I have found. You will not regret your decision to purchase these. They are true to size, warm, and comfortable. The rubber soles offer excellent grip on the hardwood floors, and I wear them outside for quick jaunts.
Nice looking moccasins, but... By NC from Albuquerque, NM on 02/27/2009 Cons: Thin Soles, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these pair for my husband. He had this brand for many years and finally old pair is gone. But unfortunately we were disappointed with these Sheepskin Moccasins. Looks ok and feels warm but not comfortable for people with flat-footed problems. Sole is too soft and warm.We are returning them.

A pair usually last me 2 years. The price on these was the key. The platinum color is odd. Now lets see if I get two years out of this pair.
