Sturdy, well-made, but kinda clunky. Overall they seem a bit narrow. The top outer edge hits the top of her feet in a weird way and makes it seem like the shoes are going to fall off. Chunky, thick sole looks somewheat masculine. If it wasn't for the great price, I don't think she'd be real fond of these.

Lots of great comments from friends. I normally wear a size 8 but because of recommendations from others about these shoes, ordered a 1/2 size smaller which is perfect.

My feet are staying warm and though my socks have gotten a little wet from melted snow, they dry out very quickly without being uncomfortable.
