By Water Baby from Atlanta, GA on 07/31/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stable Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend I took the advice of past revirews and ordered a half size smaller than normal; however, the shoe was still a wee bit too long. With thick socks, they work. If you do not plan on wearing socks, order a full size smaller.
They withstood a rugged sea kayak trip off the coast of Maine and still look new!
Good product, tricky sizing By SwimBikeHike from Fort Worth, TX on 06/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Last pair3 years use, Softens with use Best Uses: Beach, Walking in pool Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It would be best to list these along with their European sizes. My normal size 11 is a 43, but in Salomons, a size 10 is a 43. These shoes are great for water aerobics and water exercises.
By marie from PA on 06/18/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These do feel a little big, and I ordered a half size smaller than typical. I think they are fine with socks, but wasn't really planning on wearing socks in the water! The pull tie to tighten the shoe is okay so far, but it makes me suspicious. The heel adjuster also works loose rather quickly.
By river gal from grand junction, co on 06/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable Cons: Not much arch support Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach, Hiking, Rafting water sports, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend These are great shoes if you're into rafting, kayaying, etc. They can be worn in the water and also for hiking, and their mesh so your feet don't get swampy and the sand is circulated out. The only draw back is they don't have a lot of arch support.
The best part is the back that folds down, which is awesome when camping, particuarly those nights when you need to get out of your tent and don't want to mess around with straps. These act just like slip ons, but the draw string keeps them from being slip offs.
They are sized big so make sure you get a half size smaller than you usually wear
I alternate these with my chacos, so I only have to take two pairs of shoes on camping/river trips.
These are a must have for the water girl

At least a full size too big By Rebecca from Menlo Park, CA on 04/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Laceless Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach, Dog Walking Describe Yourself: Alternative Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the convenience of the laceless construction, and they're trippy looking, and pretty comfortable. However, I usually wear a 9 in most shoes, but a 10 in athletic/hiking shoes (because I also wear cushy thick socks). But I had to give the 10s away, and proceeded to order the 9-1/2s... Got them today, and I'm exchanging them for a 9. Even with thick socks and a long day on my feet, they were just too big.
By hiker from Chicago on 04/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stable Best Uses: stream crossings Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second pair. My primary purpose is as camp shoes and stream crossing shoes for backpacking trips, but they are comfy for everyday use and quick to put on to take the dog out. I was a bit bummed they wore out over a short season, but not so bummed that I didn't buy a second pair!

Very low maintenance and great tread.
