Relatively satisfied with this product By Southie from Gloucester, VA on 09/12/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Beach, Boats, Hiking Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like the shoe, but it did chafe for the first few wears. The insides aren't quite breathable enough - they hold in odor once they get wet.
By active in AZ from Scottsdale, AZ on 09/11/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Multi function, Quick Drying, Stable Best Uses: Beach, Everyday wear, Hiking, Kayaking, Travel Describe Yourself: Active, Casual Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these shoes! I previously bought a pair 2 years ago this Christmas. They are my everyday shoes and are so comfortable. My feet don't sweat and the shoes don't smell because of the great ventilation. The adjustments for fit are quick and easy. I can wear them in or through water and they drain and dry quickly. After 2 solid years, I have replaced the shoelaces twice and the shoes are showing wear (I have a pronounced pronation) but they are still holding strong. I use them for work (I travel a bit too), for hiking, for biking, kayaking, you name it. The only thing I do not wear them for is jogging.I have large feet (size 11) and many of the manufacturers (Nike, Merrell, Keen, etc) have started making shoes at least a half size too small. Since there is no such thing as an 11.5 in Women's, it makes finding shoes nearly impossible. These are very true to size. When I saw these on sale again, I bought two pairs immediately. I don't love the color (redish orange) but I'll make do because I love the comfort and the shoe. Unfortunately, they didn't have the pretty blue one in my size. The one and only downside I have found is that while the breakaway and quick adjust shoe laces are great, if they ever break while you are out an about (hiking, etc), you can't just tie the two ends together to get by and hold your shoe on your foot. On the other hand, it has never broken without being obviously worn and I should have just replaced them sooner. The laces are almost [$] for a pair though and I'm cheap so I try to get every last bit of use out of them. I guess it serves me right when they break on me under those circumstances. All and All, I absolutely love these shoes. I recommend them to everyone and since then 4 of my 5 family members have purchased pairs and they all love them too. I'm so impressed by them, I just bought my first pair of Solomon hiking boots. If they are half as comfortable, I'll be thrilled.

By Merm from Manchester, NH on 08/31/2007 Pros: Amazingly comfy, Comfortable, Stable Describe Yourself: All of the above and more Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore these every day during an 8 day trip to the UK.... The Dansko's that I adore and wear constantly for teaching, as I'm on my feet all day.....made the trip across the pond as well... but ending up staying behind most of the time during my travels...
The first day of my trip I was wearing my "amphibs" as it was, surprise! RAINING in Scotland, I almost forgot about any other shoes I had brought over....
I've worn them with and without socks and they're equally comfy either way.
I highly recommend these shoes.... Images shared by: MermAmphibs. & me @ Doune Castle, Scotland
