By Paddler from Pennsylvania on 07/29/2008 Cons: Causes Blisters, Strap Chafes, Too Stiff Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Because I love Teva sandals and tend to live in them during the summer, I looked forward to these trail sandals. But I discovered that the heel piece is SOLID and stiff. Within two blocks it had worn the skin off of my heel. I can't seem to adjust it to keep down the friction. I can only wear it with socks.
By Zeke the Rancher from N.E. Washington on 07/20/2008 Pros: Break-in took few hours, Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very comfortable after a few hours of break-in time. I'm not much of a sandal wearer but I'm pleased with this product. I was advised to buy a size larger than I wear and that held true. I'll definetely buy another pair of this product.
By Tech-wando from Los Alamos, NM on 07/13/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Trail Raptors have been my all time favorite sandal. I can put my arch supports in and they don't slide out the back like with other sandals. Plus they are so comfortable. I can wear them all day, on hikes, in the mall, etc. They are not too cute with dresses though.
By Trail Walker from Portsmouth, NH on 07/07/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Durable, Lightweight Cons: Causes Blisters, Strap Chafes Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The sandal is great for wearing on trails. The design limits the amount of sticks, etc that end up in the foot bed. The only problem is that something about the straps chafed, and the area across the top of my feet were severly blistered from a two mile walk.
