Then I ordered an 8.5 this year not knowing how much bigger sorrel ran with their sizing - but those fit just too right, heavier socks and I think too tight on my toes so another friend got those, and now I think the 9's are just right! Great brand, and I think these will be just perfect this winter!

I live in the country and these will be "muck" boots for brief trips outside in winter. Traction appears adequate for mud and snow, not ice, but then what is...No idea as yet how warm they are, but the larger size should be very comfortable and they look smart...I know the deer and squirrels will be impressed! Great value at[$]

Great casual boots for recreational wear. Good-looking and lightweight. I bought size 8.5 when I normally wear 8, and they fit perfectly. No problem with the zips at all.

I researched reviews on various sites and realized that each color is a slightly different style and each zipper is different, and concluded that the problem must be specific to one of the styles. I know that Sorels are some of the best for staying warm and dry. [...]. Although I haven't worn them in snow yet, the zipper seems to stay snuggly in place and they are going to be nice and warm. I ordered the Tobacco color! By the way, they definately do run 1/2 size small. I ordered up, and they were perfect!

The zipper doesn't stay up and the shoe really isn't very attractive. The heal part of the shoe doesn't feel rigth either
