I would say it is at least a half size larger. I have a friend that warned me to order smaller so I ordered a size 5 and it is still too big. I can wear them, yet, there is quite a bit of slip on the heal and it causes my socks to pull down. I think they are great quality and wish that they were a little smaller. I am going to try an insert to take up a little room.

I have enough room to wear a decent sock with this boot. I haven't used them yet, but I know I will. I ordered black and they look good.

I can only use them to step around my driveway as I shovel the snow because the zipper slides open and I walk right out of the right boot. Since I live 1 mile from the road, in an emergency, this would make matters much worse.

They have a much better foot bed than my other Sorel boots. No problem with the zipper staying up.
