I like the one piece construction. By Mr Fun Work from Saddle Brook, NJ on 01/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The lower foot shoe is not fuzed; therefore, it is impossible for the boot to pull apart when I pull them off my feet --as long as I don't pull on the soles.

Barbour rubber knee boots By DLancer7676 from East Tennessee on 12/25/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Stable, Well Made and sturdy Cons: Far too wide for my foot Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are very well-made and good looking for rubber muck boots, but my foot slides around in them far too much to wear for long lengths of time. I am returning them because they are too wide for my narrow foot.

Good quality, great price By KRT from New Hampshire on 11/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stable, Stylish Best Uses: Wet Weather, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels full size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A good pair of boots at this price..Barbour in the US tends to be a bit overpriced but at the price I paid, it was a good deal. They are good every day much around boots and a good extra pair for the truck or the cottage. Not as comfortable at as Le Chameau boots...but then again they're not $400 boots either.
Good Value But Small in the Calf Area By datongdave from New Hampshire on 10/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Overall great value but for those men that have large calf muscles, there is no way that you'll be able to tuck your pants into the boots. They barely fit over my leg with socks on...

By Evolving Gentleman-Farmer Retiree from MA & Upstate NY on 06/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good mud-boot, Stable Cons: Feels just a touch loose Best Uses: Garden work, Mud season, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Function-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Seems like a good, solid British product (made in China...) that will perform well in wet. mucky situations. Also will be good when the sump pump malfunctions and there is six inches of water in the basement! Could benefit from some sort of retention mechanism like an internal garter or an attached strap to keep boot from possibly coming off in really STICKY/deep mud situations, but that is only a guess at this point-- I just got them. When the veggie garden is all mud in early Spring or Fall, THEN we'll discover their actual worth!
