functional and comfortable By curious student from Switzerland on 11/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Warm, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am very pleased with this jacket. I wear it for my bicycle commute to school and just around town, and also plan to wear it for skiing. It's warm but not too warm and has several features that make it adaptable to the temparature and type of activity: side zippers for venting, detachable hood, detachable powder skirt. When the weather is not too cold, I also love to wear the zip-in liner vest on its own (it looks pretty good), or just the shell. I have the jacket in black. It looks very sporty and I generally don't wear it with anything other than jeans; it doesn't look right with dressier clothes. For me, this is the only negative aspect of this jacket. As for sizing, I am usually a size 4-6 and I ordered it in small. It fits just right, but very bulky sweaters wouldn't fit underneath with the vest zipped in.
By Becs from New Zealand on 07/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lots of Pockets, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Cross Country, Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Awesome jacket, very well made with all the extras that make for a great snowboarding jacket. One drawback - the snow skirt is a bit tight so it bunches up the bottom of the jacket when done up. Other than that, it's an excellent jacket, warm and comfy, and perfect for the snow!
