I also have had a few times where the zipper will unzip part-way while I sitting down. Overall, though they are a good boot for wearing outside to deal with the snow. I don't know though if they'd work too well for snowshoeing.

These boots are good for having to respond to ambulance calls quickly in very cold snowy conditions where you might be out in nasty terrain, or for a easy walk to town.

These ended up going back because they were very heavy and she liked the Sorel's better. I'm sure these boots would have been great at keeping her feet warm and dry. She just didn't need two pairs of HEAVY duty boots. We're searching for something a little lighter she can walk all day in. Sizing seemed fairly accurate.

Zipped up they are comfortable enough to take the dogs for a long walk.
