By Greg from Upstate NY on 03/31/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Put On & Adjust, Versatile Best Uses: Alpine Routes, Heavy Snow, Mixed Routes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great Boot for most winter activities. As a Paramedic/Ski patroler I use this boot quite often from everything from working under the lift line to back country rescues. This boot performs very well in all tempatrues that I have encountered.
By Karen from Los Angeles, CA on 03/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Put On & Adjust, Great Grip, Kept me dry in deep snow, Versatile Best Uses: Alpine Routes, Heavy Snow, Mixed Routes, Vertical Ice Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Snow hiking, snow shoeing and used with crampons in cold winter conditions.

By 99654 from Alaska on 03/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Roomy American Fit Cons: Interior is very rough Best Uses: Heavy Snow, Vertical Ice Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't used these enough to comment on performance. I have a terrible time finding boots for my wide feet, and these fit well. More rocker to the sole would be nice for hiking. The interior is covered with a very coarse mesh that gives the boots a sandpaper feel on bare feet. I haven't been able to tell yet if that friction will translate to blisters while wearing socks. Overall it seems like a very warm design.
Great product from a great company By Cpietwegn from Pennsylvania on 03/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great support, Ligthter than expected Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boots at an unbelievable price. I rated these boots 4 stars only because I have not yet had a chance to use them. But so far I am very pleased with the boots themselves. I puchased them one half size larger than my street shoes and they fit great with my SmartWool mountaineering socks.
I would buy them again!!!!
By xwing from Oregon on 01/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Alpine Routes, Heavy Snow, Mixed Routes, Vertical Ice Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Work great on waterfall ice & alpine climbs. Very comfortable. Slightly wide- which is good for me.
Not bad . . . (but a great deal) By Beartooth guy from Billings, MT on 12/10/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Put On & Adjust, Great Grip, Versatile Best Uses: Alpine Routes, Heavy Snow, Mixed Routes, Vertical Ice Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I tend to have problems with heel blisters, but the Vasque fit and duct tape seem to minimize the problem. The boots are generally very comfortable. I have gotten cold toes ice climbing in them, but I tend to have cold toes easily -- can't blame it on the boot. My plastic boots are warmer, but not as versatile. The boots have performed well ice climbing and on the approach.
