By paddlemama from MN on 04/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered the sm/medium for myself and it ended up being borderline too large for my husband. Other than that it's a great vest for the price.
By River Rat from Dickinson, Texas on 03/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Ventilation, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Advanced User Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a gadget freak with my outdoor equipment. I just want it to last and be the best and this my friend is the best life jacket I have ever used. It fits so snug once adjested that I was able to jump of a 40 foot bluff on the Buffalo river and it stayed right where it was at. Quite simply the best!
By H2O2go from sf on 03/03/2009 Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Feels lumpy and over engineered
By Stella from Boston MA on 12/17/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Ventilation, Highly Adjustable Cons: Hard to Adjust, Noisy material, Rides Up in Water Best Uses: Boating, Paddling Describe Yourself: Advanced User Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nicely made and appointed pfd, but it didn't fit me well. The size was right, but there seemed to be way to much flotation material high on the chest close to my chin.
By The Rooster from Sausalito, California on 11/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Ventilation, Highly Adjustable, Lightweight Best Uses: Boating, Paddling Describe Yourself: Advanced User Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this mostly for kayaking (touring/ocean sit-in kayak), which I think brings about most of the comfort demands of a PFD. Easy to move in, it's not too hot, not restrictive at all. One important advantage to the adjustment features are when you change clothing for the conditions for an outing. If you need to wear something extra (wet weather gear, fleece, etc.), this jacket allows some expansion and still has a safe, snug fit. That works the other way when a t-shirt is enough to be on the water.
The pockets con is that the pockets aren't as functional as the look, and they're not as easy to get into with gloved hands. I wish they held just a little bit more.
Other than that, this is a very good product, would recommend it, and would purchase it again. Very comfortable, good fit, easy to move in.

Adjustment takes getting used to... has some cool features, towing slot etc.
By Woofie from Central vermont on 08/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Ventilation, Great Mobility, Highly Adjustable Describe Yourself: Intermediate Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am an avid canoeist and I have been using this model for years. I just bought another one (my 3rd) as a spare, eventually my oldest one (5 years+) will wear out.
Have worn these from big-water canoe tripping to freestyle practice- Great product!
