Nice warm weather day pack. By ClimbingKatie from Maine on 06/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Refill, Good Water Flow, Highly Adjustable, Stable Best Uses: Commuting, Day Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wish the hydration pack held a 2 liter camelback rather than the 1 liter, however, the size of the bag is meant for more daytrips anyway. It is a very, very, comfortable and easy-to-adjust bag, and held all of the things I needed for a full day's climb.
By edruns69 from Petoskey, Mi on 05/11/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This backpack is advertised as an hydration pack but it does not come with a bladder to put water in. Its useless!
Great Pack for Day Hiking By Outdoor Dabbler from Marlborough MA on 05/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Refill, Good Water Flow, Highly Adjustable, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This has been a great backpack for moderate to strenuous dayhikes. The hip and chest straps provided great stability during climbing and coming down steep inclines. The backpack is a great size for me and the hydration hose fit fine over my shoulder. The backpack was comfortable enough for me to carry all the water and other necessities needed for a 3-6 hour hike and I felt little or no pressure in my shoulders. Please note though that hydration hose did Not reach over my husbands shoulder, so if this is function you are looking to use you need to concider your size. The hose may not have a long enough reach for a medium to large size man but should be fine for a woman. Looking forward to using it for winter activities.

By fiji from Laramie Wy on 04/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Highly Adjustable, Large Capacity, Stable Best Uses: Commuting, Day Trips, Extended Hikes, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't used the hydration system. The questions above made it sound like it was supposed to have it. It didn't but I just wanted the capability for a hydration system I already have. I use the pack for school. It works quite well and feels distributes the weight well so my neck doesn't get messed up.
I love this pack and cant wait till summer so I can take it hiking.
By Gym Runner from Boston, MA on 04/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Refill, Highly Adjustable Best Uses: Day Trips, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It was between this pack and another, smaller one said to have a slightly larger capacity. That was the only reason I returned it.

By Lenners from Santa Fe, NM on 01/22/2009 Pros: Nice to carry skis snows Cons: Bladder NOT included Best Uses: Winter day hikes Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: first of all, this is not a hydration pack, but a hydration compatible pack (no bladder included).the pocket for the bladder is on the wrong sideof the pack, requiring an extension hose for most bladders. the waist loop buckle on my pack didnot work and had to be replaced. it cost me an additional $30 to make this pack functional.
Made for the snowboarding fanatic By Lee from Rural Vallley, PA on 01/12/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this for my snowboarding son and he loves it with all the compartments, adjustments and straps. It looks like you can even strap a snowboard on to it, but it wouldn't carry the big boards some teenagers ride these days. Could easily strap a bulky coat or other extra clothes on the back to accommodate changing weather conditions. Well made and well designed at a fraction of the price of the big name outdoor rec. outfits.
