They don't look rubbery at all but rather attractive with jeans. I have the periwinkle. The heel can slip off but it's not a major concern. I good shoe for the price. You can wear them has day slippers, around the yard or out in public. They are very versatile.

If i could i would give them 10 stars. They are so comfortable. My last pair lasted 3 years. Soon as i get home from work i put them on and dont take them off untill bed. I would highly recommend these to anyone. The blue color is very nice.
