Failed before I could get it wet By tyeesalmon from Washington on 09/29/2009 Describe Yourself: Sponsored Professional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second Day Tripper. 1st one failed
in it's 2nd year, out of warranty. 1st one lost a pontoon.
I waited 4 years and purchased another last week. It blew a seam weld in the upper tube bladder on initial pumping up before it reached full capacity. Never even got wet.
Naturally I was a 4 hour drive to a private lake from home. Thank goodness it was not in the middle of the lake, the whole thing would collapse in a tangled mess between the pontoons.
Poor Quality & Customer Support By northernfly from Ottawa, Canada on 09/01/2009 Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have continual problems with leaks along the bladder seam. I have repaired it several times but it doesn't hold for long. Attempts to contact Waterskeeter about a replacement bladder have failed with no response from the company.
By Wading in a floattube? from Sacramento on 08/28/2009 Pros: Still can't think of one Cons: Air bladders LEAK, Heavy, Poor Tracking, Unstable Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Second time I tried to use it, the main bladder split at the seam. Catastrophic failure! Had I been in the water it could have made things interesting. Took over 6 months to get a replacement, which leaked the first time I used it!! Tube also has too many dangling straps. No matter what the price, you're better off saving your money and buying a pool toy, that would be safer and last longer.
CANNOT GET THE COMPANY TO CALL ME BACK By PLEASE REPLACE YOUR FAULTY PRODUCT from FRESNO CA on 06/11/2009 Cons: BLADDER LEAKS AT THE SEAM Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: BEEN TRYING FOR A YEAR AND A HALF TO GET BLADDER REPLACE. WILL NOT CALL BACK
By guy fishing from shore..... from Las Vegas on 09/29/2008 Cons: Difficult To Use, Poor Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: After two uses the seam in the main bladder spilt. I was sent a replacement, but that one only lasted two days on the water. It suffered the same type of seam failure.
The concept was OK, the overall quality of the bladders is very poor.
By Bruce from Kitimat, BC on 05/29/2008 Cons: Difficult To Use, Leaks, Poor Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Seams on bladders split easily under normal use. Had this thing on the lake only three times before it became unusable. Bladders slide all over in fabric, so you have to hunt 4 the air locks. Difficult and time consuming to line everything up just right during assembly. Bladders feel cheap. Sits so high out of the water, catch and release is difficult.

By Fish tremble! from Denver on 03/21/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sits high in water, very manueverable, have had one for 6 years, never an issue with leaks. Has 3 bladders, takes a few min. to set up. I usually leave it inflated in the summer time and throw it in the back of my suburban. Looking to buy a new one this year for the wife!
By Fishboy from Shingletown, CA on 10/17/2007 Pros: Sits high on the water Cons: Bladders and valves leak, Poor Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: When I first bought this, I liked the way it sat high on the water. After a couple of uses, I found myself out in cold water, hearing a leak. Upon returning it to their main office in Stockton, they provided replacement bladders, but no later than another month, another leak occurred. Upon calling the owner and his wife again, they declined to repair or fix. [...]
