Looks sturdy. Mid-fat & fat skis fit. By Mark from Phoenix, AZ on 07/13/2008 Pros: Great Capacity, Protective Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Comments: Havent used this yet. Mid fat & fat powder skis fit easily in this two pair bag, along with poles. Room for other gear as well. Wheels are nice. Seems heavy, but hey, your going to roll it anyway. Survival during trips as checked baggage will determine construction quality, but my friend has this bag an is happy, having travelled by air on multiple trips.
By Threepin from Utah on 06/18/2008 Pros: easy to use, Great Capacity, Protective Cons: zipper is not full length Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I do not know how I lasted without a rolling ski bag for so long. It is easy to carry by the handle too. The bonus is that this one fits both my sets, one a pair of 205's and the others a double camber touring pair. All my kit (except helmet) fits between them too. The outside pocket is just a nice touch for tools et cetera.
Very durable bag for transporting By chris from Raleigh,NC on 06/14/2008 Pros: Great Capacity, Protective Describe Yourself: Getting Started Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend This bag was used to pack a radio antenna to be
transported by an airline. It was then transported
by ship to an island. The bag was loaded close to
40-50lbs. It took the beating like a charm and
is still in good condition.
We bought a second one for a friend who needed
to transport an identical item. Will buy again.
Highly recommended -The double ski bag with Wheels.
By laura from houston on 04/09/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Great Capacity, Protective, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the bag to protect my ski from airways mishandling and to defy the one bag rule. With a double ski bag we might be able to pack boots and underwear without being overcharged.
By Peggy from Palatine, IL on 04/04/2008 Pros: Easy to pull, Great Capacity, Protective, Works for short skis Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ski bag could be folded and strapped down to work for short skis.
By mmp0215 from Raleigh, NC on 03/28/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It was a bit of a struggle to fit two pairs of adult skis. The extra pockets came in handy. The bag could use a little more padding, but for the price, you can't beat it!
By MAC from Burke, Virginia on 03/21/2008 Pros: Great Capacity, Lightweight, Protective, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Concern: some new airline restrictions limit one pair of skis per person/bag or extra fees applied.
By John from Spokane on 03/20/2008 Best Uses: Extended Trips, Travel Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: You get what you pay for. This carrier is extremely durable, and provides very good protection for your equipment. The only con that I've found is the large size of the product althogh rollers help with ease of travel.
Good bag, but weak material By Snowtraveler from San Francisco, CA on 03/18/2008 Pros: Great Capacity, Lightweight Cons: Offers Little Protection Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend I bought this bag to bring two pairs of skis on upcoming trips to Utah and the Alps.
Already on the first flight, the bag broke and left a hole around the front of the skis. On the next flight, I started noticing other little holes in the soft material. This bag doesn't provide enough protection for your skis.
When carrying two pairs of skis, you must load them correctly, or both wheels won't touch the ground. The handle to pull the bag is a little bit on the side.
Overall good product for the price By gimp from Lancaster PA on 03/11/2008 Pros: Great Capacity, Protective Cons: No Instructions, Uncomfortable Strap Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Packed new skis for airline trip to Sunday River. A bit awkward to maneuver thru airport but got the job done.
