Comments: these replace some rubbish Praktica binos I bought in Hong Kong - they racked out at different rates so distorted and were useless. I find the image quality, sharpness and clarity of these exceptional and cannot imagine anything better - buy with absolute confidence for general use.

Comments: I observe birds in my yard and around the pond--strictly amateur! These binoculars work fine--very light, easy to focus, very clear view. A little shaky due to 10X, but I expected that.

Bird Watching, hunting

Comments: I purchased a pair of these for youngest son who is avid backpacker/naturalist. And I purchased a full size (10X) for oldest son, whho ia a passionate hunter. We are all going on a hunting triip this fall. Both pair are great, but the full-size are heavy. No difference between the two, except in low light levels, where the full size are superior. After trying them, I purchased a pair of compacts for myself. My Bausch and Lomb are going to Goodwill.

Comments: Steiner are always exceptional. Most are big. This is lightweight and great magnification, but a narrower field of view than most 10X binocs. A little hard to use with Glasses, but adjustments work past that. Highly recommended.
