By velabella from Santa Fe on 11/07/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Cons: Haven't found a down side Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are comfortable enough to hike in, and very light weight. Haven't spent a lot of time in them yet, but so far have been great.
By rmd from Pennsylvania on 11/02/2007 Cons: Poor Grip, Wears Easily Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are the worst boots I ever owned. The grip is terrible, and the durability is aweful. I owned the boots for a year and they need replaced already due to tearing near the toe cap. I would not recommend these boots to anyone except for people who fish from a drift boat only. If you do alot of wading/walking you will be disapointed.
By Cast-a-way from Montana on 10/31/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip, Lightweight Cons: sole fell off, Wears Easily Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the sole on one boot came completely off the other is hanging on by a thread. Poor quality? or I just got the ones made friday at 4:55?
By Matt (fly fishing) from Idaho on 10/17/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots are comfortable and great for hiking around. The only complaint i have is that need more felt. The rubber soles contact the rocks more than anything else, so you end up slipping a lot when your out in the river. The cleats work ok, but again the rubber sole contacts most surfaces first.
My buddy with felt shoes was able to walk up this rock and i kept sliding down it.
But for hiking and casual getting around they are great. The cleats do help out, but they need more felt.
3 in 1 outsole grips poorly By Wishing I was fly fishing from Denver on 10/03/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The 3-in-1 outsole grips poorly. The felt (what little there is) and the studs sit lower than the rubber lugs, so they never really touch the ground. Once the rubber lugs become wet they are very slippery. You're better off with an all felt wading shoe.
GRETA VALUE ON A GREAT WADING BOOT By HELMEMAN from TEXAS on 09/14/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Good Grip Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
excellent wading boot for the price By Junk from PA on 09/12/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Best Uses: Fly Fishing, Freshwater Fishing, Saltwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher, Beginner, Casual Fisher, Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: wet wading did cause blisters with inadequate socks and long walks, but what boot wouldn't. can't pass up for the price.
By Peggy from Pagosa Springs, CO on 09/11/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Good Grip, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Beginner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots fit my needs perfectly.
By I am a Flyfisherman from New Mexico on 08/28/2007 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were very comfortable....until I got in the water and realized I would have been better off wearing tennis shoes. Do not buy these if you plan on using them as...well wading boots.
