By AmmoBox from Virginia on 04/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In Cons: Hard to get your foot in Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice fit, and comfortable out of the box. The only issue so far is the length of the laces and lace design make is a little difficult to put on.

It seems to have good traction as I have taken to New Mexico for some light hiking. It also works well for an everyday shoe. By Linda from Blue Mountains Australia on 03/03/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction, Shock-Absorbent, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Everyday, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Paved Trails, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Buying shoes similar to these in Australia cost 100's. These are the one of the best bargains I have had. So far we have bought 4 pairs for various family members. They have been excellent footwear and used in the northern winter, walking through wet and snowy conditions with never a wet sock. Highly recommended to any hiker.
By WW from New York, NY on 03/03/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly Best Uses: All Weather Conditions Describe Yourself: Rarely Workout Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
By bigskyguy from whitefish, mt on 03/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction Cons: Not Water Resistant, Poor Cushioning Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I've had these shoes for a couple of years. My feet always seemed to get damp in wet grass or rain. So, I did a test in the sink. As soon as the water reached the mesh parts, it started to leak into the footbed! So much for gore-tex. If it's there, there isn't much. I'd like your comments as this may have been a manufacturer's defect - although it leaks in the same places on both shoes.
