Great construction, terrible fit By Alex from Nashville, TN on 08/16/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return these shoes after about a minute of walking in them- sole has a narrow footprint and is rather tipsy. This is the first item I have ever returned from Sierra- It was an extremely easy process!!
Firm foot bed- very stable day hiker By Jeff from Philadelphia, PA on 08/15/2008 Pros: Durable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The foot bed in this shoe is a little stiff and harder than most shoes. Still, it's very comfortable right out of the box. I found the shoe to fit the average size foot. Very stable and seems well built.
Excellent casual/hicking shoes By Richard Siemer from Midland, MI on 08/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Non-slip sole, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoes are of excellent quality and construction. They are appropriately rigid to provide stability and are very comfortable. I have somewhat narrow feet (12's) with a bunion on the left foot (TMI). Dispite these facts the shoes fit perfectly!
Better shoes on the market for hiking By No Regrets from Kentucky on 08/07/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried two different sizes and couldn't get either one to work. One was too large and the other was too small. The one that fit on length was too narrow and vise versa. Also, the shoe has no inner sole to speak of. I believe you would feel rocks through the sole. Shoe is too flexible for a hiker. As an every day walk around shoe, it is probably ok.
By fireftr76 from Pinetop, AZ on 08/06/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just enough to keep the toes dry. I use these to work in and have stood on wet metal roofs with them. stuck like a gecko.

Didn't break in shoes in advance and didn't experience any discomfort. Shoes were water resistant and dried quickly when soaked (after crossing rivers with high water levels). Very good value.
