In these boots, I ordered a size 8 1/2 and wish I had ordered a size 9. And I never in my life have worn a size 9. I ordered them because of their price on sale, but the original retail price is way too high for them. The plus to them is that the sole will be good for wintertime, for walking on slippery surfaces. I'm keeping them because of the cost and inconvenience of returning them, but I hope my observation helps other purchasers regarding the advisability of buying these boots and appropriate sizing.

The only down side I have found so far is that I have a really high arch and the boot is a little too tight on it. But I think with some more wear it will loosen up.

They feel very comfortable and sturdy but I would like to have had a pair of boots that were water resistant and not made of denim. For the price I feel I got a real deal and a nice pair of boots, never mind the mud!
