I'd suggest buying one size bigger, though, since the design makes it a bit tough to get on a little kid's foot easily. Not a lot of stretch in the material, so not easy to slip on. But I do love this shoe!
Way too difficult to put on.... Even after I cut the elastic, we could not get them on her foot (and I had bought the correct size).

Even though the sizing seemed right (correct length and width) but they were very difficult to get on. She objected so much that we ended up passing them on to a younger friend, hoping the leather would stretch and loosen up as they grew into them.
Seemed very cute and durable, just not easy to get on a toddler!

They slide on easily but are difficult for her to kick off - and she is a pro at removing foot gear.
She has received many compliments on the shoes - too bad she will outgrow them in record time.

Luckily, there was a return 3 sizes bigger. Thought they were so cute, I purchased them and will wait for my son to grow into them!!!
