Awesome quality and versatility By TKD Chicago from Chicago on 11/12/2009 Pros: Strong, Versatile, Weather Resistant Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this system for everything from groceries from costco--I hate all that cardboard!--to carrying 40-50 12" boards for martial arts test/demonstrations. Also great for keeping my 4 kids' clothes separated when traveling. It's a great system for anyone who is active and needs organization. Bought my sister-in-law one for x-mas.
By Two blonds and Us from Bellingham, WA on 11/04/2009 Pros: Organizes Packing, Versatile Best Uses: Car Trips, Dog Stuff Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Instead of one big duffel in the car for our stuff, we organize in these packs. We usually take our two dogs along on road trips and these packs organize their stuff as well. Makes for very flexible packing in the car. Optimizes use of space.

By Montana man from South central Montana on 10/22/2009 Pros: Versatile, Weather Resistant Best Uses: Car survival gear storage, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Other reviewers noted that the cube carrier is not rigid and makes loading more difficult, that would be a definite improvement. For the price and intended purpose this is a great product. We live in a remote area of Montana and winters here can be life threatening if we get stuck in our vehicle in a bad storm. We store emergency survival gear in our modular hauler and we can transfer it to whatever vehicle we decide to drive. It holds a lot of gear and the cubes make sorting and organizing our gear much easier. Nice product and a great value.
By Myjan from Truckee, CA on 10/19/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the greatest idea for storage - for us it's in the small RV. The only drawback is that unless the pouches are full, the whole hauler will collapse. So, initially it's a little floppy, however, once full it perfect!
By Eli the yogi snowboarding adventurer from Boulder, CO on 10/14/2009 Pros: Versatile, Weather Resistant Best Uses: For the car, To hold dog items, To hold emergency supply Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have set mine up so each one pertains to something different. One for the dog, one for the car, one for emergency supplies, and one for extra clothing running shoes and gear so i can always have what I need. So far the dog one has been great for when my boyfriend takes the dog to work or for a couple days. I just hand over the bag, and there is everything in it, even a bed!
By SJ Packer from San Jose, CA on 10/06/2009 What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Great idea, in theory, but doesn't really deliver. The cubes have no structure, so are a pain to use, unless they are all full. Likewise, the carrier has no structure - only when all cubes are nearly full, does the whole unit have any structure.
Although the cube material is waterproof, the zippers are very much not.
works pretty darn well--good organizatio By Water the AT hiker in the Pac NW from Portland, OR on 09/30/2009 Pros: Colorful, Low profile, Scalable, Versatile Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is great for organizing gear in the car for Car-Camping and for those trips that are a mix of backcountry and car camping or motel stops. Sometimes you just need a place to throw stuff and not in plastic bags or just all loose in the trunk. This hauler system is great! It is low profile and long - so it fits in a trunk great.
the cons are that there is no shoulder strap(s) included - come on. Also until the cubes are loaded it does not 'stand up' very well at all. While I'm sure it makes it easier to store without them, some semi-firm plastic inserts to keep shape would be nice.
I'm going to buy some buckles and webbing and make my own shoulder straps for the main bag and each cube.
By Rick from Flint, Mi. on 09/22/2009 Best Uses: Organization for trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I cut cardboard to fit into the bottom of the bags to optimize storage and had prenty of room to spare in each bag. It seems very well made, but then again I haven't hauled it very far yet. Just remember not to overload, unless you plan on using a truck or pack mule to move it. Time will tell how well it holds together.
