I have arthritis in my shoulder and these bags truly do help with that. I try other bags but keep coming back to the Ameribag. I think I am hooked with this bag and I don't intend to try more bags but to just be satisfied with this one.

I agree. I carry so much stuff in my purse and my back never hurts. (I am overly prepared) If carrying for a long time, put the strap across yoru chest. really comfortable and non-slip. Lots of compartments so I am still trying to figure out where to stash my stuff.
I do recommend Scotch-guarding.
