By Norwestie from Sequim, WA on 12/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Regulates Temperature Well, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Backpacking, Cycling, Daily Use, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Extremely comfortable socks, great moisture-wicking properties, excellent cushioning and breathability. That said, don't buy these if you hike in an environment where they'll snag on thorns or underbrush, as they unravel in a heartbeat! The loose weave that allows all that airflow and comfort won't hold up to even everyday wear-and-tear.

By scallopr from New England on 12/05/2008 Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I found these socks and thought they might be a nice, less expensive alternative to smartwool socks. They are not. They are comfortable, and fit nicely, but the material makes my feet sweat like crazy and socks always feel damp when I take my boots off at the end of the day.

Comfortable and warm, yet light. By adventure lover from Charlottesville, VA on 12/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Design, Regulates Temperature Well, Stylish, Wicks Away Moisture Best Uses: Daily Use, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These socks are great - I've used them both for everyday use and for hiking. They keep my feet warm, yet wick away moisture so my feet never get sweaty wearing these. They also have a bit of a cushion on the pads of the feet, which make them very comfortable to wear. I highly recommend these socks...I have about 5 pairs of these now.
