Warm, comfortable winter boot. By Walker. from Rockford, IL on 12/06/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am impressed but I have a high instep which makes it difficult to get into. Once I get them on though, they are warm and wonderful and my winter hikes are far more comfortable.
By Meezer from Rockford,Il on 12/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am replacing my fifteen yearold sorels with the new pair. I spend alot of time outside working and with the grandkids and these boots are great in the cold weather/snow. The weight may be a concern for some but the protection is worth it. The only downfall I find is the liners are very tight fitting at the ankle area, making it hard to get your foot in.
By RAH from Washington, DC on 12/02/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are very warm and keep the elements out, but they are a bit clunky and heavy. Lots of room for wide feet in toe box. Probably best to order about half a size smaller than normal.
By Ski Wannabe from Bellingham, WA on 12/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't used them yet so I can't accurately rate them - ski season hasn't yet started! There was much debate on your website regarding sizing, which I can understand. You guys suggested going down a size (as did a Customer Service agent I spoke with), but several reviewers said that was not the case for them. I went down a size and believe they are a little too small , but I'm not exchanging for a larger size because 1) you did not have the other size in stock and 2) I'm worried they will be too much of an increase in size and 3) exchanges are expensive, especially if I find the larger size is too large.

By Bob - horse lover. from Cordova, TN on 11/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my granddaughter so she could keep her feet warm while working with the horses.
She wears these to retrieve the horses from the field and to work in the barn. They had to be warm and easy to clean. She switches to riding boots if she's going to ride, so they also had to be easy to get on and off.
By mom of three from Colorado on 10/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well I have really wide feet-with the start of a bunion and I have a hard time finding comfortable shoes or boots. These are REALLY comfortable and plenty wide. About the sizing, I ordered my true size and it fit perfectly. I could never have gone smaller, so not sure what all the sizing issues are about. Very happy and can't wait to get out in the snow w/ my kids:-)
