By Tree from Tower, Mn on 11/23/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The catalogue said that the boots ran small, and to orger up. Well I ordered up a 1/2 size and they were too big. Part of it may be the style of the boot. Very roomy and wide across the middle. Sloppy feeling when too large. Didn't wear them enough to say many pro's or con's.

They're waterproof, don't stain and oh so warm.

By Colorado Runner Girl from Colorado Springs on 11/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Winter is coming and I'm excited to use these. So far, I feel I can comment on their fit and have a feeling they'll be great in the snow and good for snowshoeing. Ultimately I wanted something that would be warm, comfortable, and easy to slip on and off...so far so good. They aren't too narrow and appear true to size!
Not appropriate for a high arch By JP from Boston on 11/14/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This boot is well-constructed and attractive. However, the zipper is short and getting my foot into it was a real struggle. By "real struggle" I mean almost impossible. I had to get a clamp to hold the back of the boot while I forced my foot into it. I do have a very high arch, so this would likely not be a problem for most people. My plan was to take the boot to a cobbler and have the zipper elongated, but once my foot was in, it swam around in the very wide boot. So if you have low arches and slightly wider feet, this is the boot for you.

Sorels have never let me down!
By YAYA from West Des Moines, Iowa on 11/11/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Can't vouch for anything yet except comfort and entry/exit because haven't worn them in snow/slush/ice yet...but I DO love them so far ---just what I was hoping for --- room for warm socks, not too heavy, true size feel, roomy toebox.
Great boots but don't order size larger By Caroline from Oak Park, IL on 11/10/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Online they will suggest you order a full size larger. Not true. Even with a thick pair of socks, a HALF size larger was too big. And I did not find them narrow, either, as another reviewer mentioned. A bit stiff right out of the box but I'm sure they will soften up as they get used. Very nice styling--my sister even bought a pair.
By Liz from Rutland, VT on 11/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very nice-looking boots. I tried them on and they are very comfortable and feel as though they will keep my feet warm. I bought them because it's going to get cold here soon and I'll need some warm boots. However, it's still fall and I haven't had a chance to wear them yet in the very cold weather.
