They are very durable and warm as well. I purchased them in the light aqua and the red colors. My son has jackets and sweaters to match both and they make his little Autumn outfitters much more cute.
The only complaint I have about them is that they fall off his feet rather easily. They don't have a ton of stretch to them and without the ankle part that I'm used to on Acorn and Patagonia fleece and leather booties, they tend to fall off when he tries to kick them off. Most of the time it isn't a problem because he doesn't usually try to get his shoes off. If you have a little one who tries to take and kick his shoes and booties off frequently, then I would not recommend these slippers. Otherwise, they are great.
I should add that these are best for indoor use and for stroller rides. The soles of the slippers are thick, but are made of part boiled wool as well, so they would not be suitable for walking outdoors. Also, if you have hardwoood floors that your little one will be walking on, the soles are a little bit slippery, especially if he or she is not very steady on his or her feet yet. The sole does seem to be a little bit more "grippy" than the rest of the slipper and is very thick.
I really do think these are excellent toddler slippers. The price is fantastic. Just don't count on them to take the place of other booties or boots. They serve a certain function.
They really are adorable and the colors are bold and unique, while accenting many outfits very nicely.

But they seem to fall off his feet all the time. I wish there was a way to keep them on. Just a word of wisdom, buy the ones that come up higher (like socks).

The only downside is that they can be slipper on wood or tile floors. Maybe some non-skid things on the bottom would help

really nice quality slippers By Mawrter from East Coast on 05/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Natural fabric, Soft, Warm Best Uses: Comfort, Home, Lounging Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Truly nice woolen slippers. I bought them in 2 sizes and would have gotten more if they were available in the right color/sizes. They fit nicely, stay on well, and keep children's feet warm but not sweaty (unlike the fleece alternatives). I hope STP will continue to offer these slippers.
NB: I didn't remark on durability because after a week, who can say for sure? They look like they should be, though - good thickness and correct-looking seams.

Warm enough to wear without socks, and yet don't make feet sweatty. He can put them on himself, and they don't fall off, even after many hours of running around the house. We are getting the next size up for next winter!
By Mom of many from Virginia on 03/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Warm Cons: Sole Wears Quickly, Thin fabric Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My children got these slippers for Christmas. My 9 yr old had holes in the toes within two weeks. I bought her a larger pair thinking that maybe hers were too small. She wore holes in the same place, the big toe area, again within weeks. Her 7 yr old sister also wore holes in the toes. They only wear them in the house and wear socks with them.
Very disappointing, especially because they are warm and comfortable!
