By Wendy from Cloverdale, CA on 07/30/2008 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Swimming for a Beginner Describe Yourself: Beginner Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just started swimming for exercise. I have always had a fear of putting my face in the water. I love these goggles! I'm still cautious, but am now swimming laps after 3 days of practicing!
By Pinus strobus from Minneapolis, MN on 07/29/2008 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good price Describe Yourself: Intermediate Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have three kids 9-15 y/o on swim teams and we run through many pairs of goggles, by wear and tear or by loss. They are picky about fit and style and these goggles got a seal of approval from all of them. We have purchased many pairs of goggles that are uncomfortable or don't do the job, so I was wary of trying this product at this price, but have been more than happy. They are comfortable, do not leak, and stay on when diving. At about [$]/pair the price is right.
By TriGirl from Michigan on 07/29/2008 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable Best Uses: Lap Swimming, Triathlon Describe Yourself: Intermediate Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been using a pair of these goggles 2-3 times a week for the past 7 months and am very pleased with them. They are the most comfortable pair that I have owned. The field of vision is good (large) and the clarity is great (I occasionally clean them). I have not had any problems with leaking. They are used primarily for swimming in a pool and occasionally for open water swims and triathlons. Excellent product!
Best goggles I've ever owned By JD from Atlanta, GA on 07/28/2008 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Intermediate Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've been swimming regularly for about 30 years now; I've owned a lot of swim goggles, but never any as good as these. The nose bridge is not adjustable, but it's flexible. It works just fine for me, meaning one less adjustment to make, and rather than that brittle little piece of plastic that's prone to breaking, the nose bridge is of the same kind of durable silicon-type material as the rest of the goggles. Rather than a thick barrier around the eyes, which puts pressure on delicate tissue around the eyes and, depending on the material, is prone to breaking down, especially at the seams, these Camaro goggles have a thin silicon-type barrier. It keeps water out on the same principle as a windshield wiper. Never before have I popped on a pair of goggle for the first time, "burped" the eyepieces, and gone swimming without any leaks or any need for additional adjustment. Finally, there's a unique construction to the straps with a small tab on each side, making adjustment a breeze. These are great goggles, and the price can't be beat! I'm getting a second pair as a backup.
The most comfortable goggles By BARnone from Charlottesville, Va on 07/28/2008 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Swimming, Water Sports Describe Yourself: Intermediate Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: On me, most goggles have to be tightened until they're painful to keep water out. These goggles are most comfortable and keep water out of my eyes very well. Both the blue and the black goggles have excellent optics. The blue have a light blue tinted lens, the black have a light grey tint.
One design flaw though: both my pairs broke when getting adjusted. The tear in the silicone around the lenses (not just the strap) makes them unusable. I used them many times without breaking them, but my boys each broke a pair on their first use. Probably best used by adults who can carefully adjust the goggles.
By Kathleen from Montana on 07/27/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: We returned these because, although the product description states they are made in Austria, the goggles were clearly labeled "Made in China."
By PCRider from Woodland Hills, CA on 07/24/2008 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Good Ventilation, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Intermediate Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great value for money goggles. No chance of leaking.
By swimming sissy from NY on 07/22/2008 Cons: Bulky, Heavy, Not good for racing Comments: I used the product at swim camp and found them to be to bulky for the type of swimming I do.
Good quality google for the price By tosh from windermere, FL on 07/21/2008 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Lightweight Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When I used it fo the very first time, everything was great and I would have rated 5 star but after 10 uses in lap swimming, I noticed that lens clarity has diminished a little and water tightness is weaker. I often have to readjust during swimmin so I can swim with open eyes.
