The weather was clear and warm during the day and cool at night. I was plenty warm. This was a shakedown cruise for climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro later this summer. I'm not too concerned that I will be cold. It seemed to work well.
Sierra Crestone Sleeping Bag By TT from Scottsdale, AZ on 06/17/2008 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Great Zipper System, Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backpacking, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Comments: Awesome sleeping. Long enough for myself and a place at the bottom to dry wet cloths. As my primary use is in the Andes, light weight and water resistant is a must. Highly recommend.

Best deal for 0 degree bag! By Anne the Hammer from Las Vegas, NV on 11/12/2007 Pros: Adjustable Hood, Great Zipper System, Lightweight, Stows Easily, Warm Best Uses: 2 Season Camping, Backpacking, Car Camping, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this bag after shopping everywhere for my trip to Africa for climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. This bag kept me so warm and comfortable in the many climate changes, from rainforest to desert to below freezing temps. It was lightweight, warm, roomy, and has sturdy zippers. I was able to compress this bag to fit easily into a small day pack. I was able to move around, turn while sleeping, without any difficulty or slipping off my air mattress. Great down bag for right price!!
