Can't beat the price.
By NM Mom from NW New Mexico on 01/23/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: For walking on snowy, icy sidewalks and roads, it's fine although traction is not as good as other boots I've had. I agree with other reviewer(s) that it would be nice if the boots were longer. They come to mid-shin/calf only. Also, the toe-box is just a little tight, so beware if you have wide feet or bunions. However, the boots are easy to get on/off, and I like the velcro strap around the ankle, rather than a lace that needs to be tied.

By Farfel from NJ on 01/07/2009 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: My daughter grew out of her last pair of Kamiks and those were great. These looked great but when she put them on, she complained that the instep felt wierd. I put my hand inside and felt the lining which was all buckled and unlike many winter boots, not adjustable..
