Perfect boots in cold and snowy weather By Maria from Saugerties, NY on 02/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have used the Arctic Cat Pac Boots shoveling my driveway numerous times this winter. They are very comfortable and keep your feet warm. A little difficulty in slipping on and off since I have a high instep, but, once the boots are on, no problem!
My purchase was made at the right time--and the price was right! Thank you.

Fits well even with a heavy sock and a low sport sock for more toe warmth. Removable liner stays inside when removing boots. Durable rubber soles and "shoe" area, water resistant fabric from there up. Not the warmest but light wt and not bulky. Blue trim matches lt blue Ober***** down jacket. I love these.

I'll just wear VERY heavy socks!

By Gale from Frazee, MN on 12/26/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought this boot might be warmer than it is. But I went for lightness and got that. It will do in mild winter conditions. I planned to use it for mucking horse stalls and it will work for that job. I like the fact it does not have a bunch of laces in the front to catch debris.
warm tops but bottom of feet are cold By annie from cerrillos, nm on 12/22/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight Cons: Boot soles seem very thin, Very cold soles of feet Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Doing outdoor chores, Winter horseback riding Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: the bottom of the boot is WAY too thin and even with the liner and my heavy socks, the soles of my feet are quite cold. when buying, i'd add a super heavy-duty warm insert to my order. i bought these boots to substitute for my Zcoil tennies that i wear year-round; they are super warm on the soles but the tops are a bit cold.
these are lighter weight than my old sorels, which i have worn for decades, and when i get the right liner configuration, i'm sure they will be as warm too.
By Jug from Omaha, NE on 12/20/2007 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use the boots for tromping around in 10 to 30 degree weather with snow on the ground. My feet stay dry and warm.
