However, with cold weather insoles, the problem is fixed and I now enjoy them. They are easy to get on and off and are very comfortable.

Love it. It is comfortable and keeps the snow out. It is also good for slippery weather. Only con is that it is hard to get into and when you pull your feet out the lining comes out too
By Cold Carol from Burlington, Vermont on 12/11/2007 Cons: Ankle too narrow, Difficult Entry & Exit, Heavy Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: You need to have a narrow leg and ankle to get these on and order more than a size larger. I did get a larger size and still could not get them on, so I cannot comment on how well they function. They look great but...

By Just Me from Near Cincinnati, Ohio on 11/05/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Felt needs proper care Best Uses: Cold Weather, Sitting on scooter etc, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational, Stuck on cart most times Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Boots that can keep inactive feet warm are essential when I'm normally not able to walk far in winter and must use my scooter to walk dogs, run errands, etc. These boots do that, yet don't overheat feet when walking, and don't need to be taken off immediately when you get back inside some place warm.
The ankle/arch straps are a bit stiff to reposition, but do a good job of preventing heel slip while still allowing fairly easy on/off.
Draw string at top of these tall boots provides a good option of wearing pants inside or outside boot tops ... depending upon what you plan to do.
Nice touch many might not recognize: Liners are open in front from top to just above arch; this prevents any stretching or tearing of liner when donning/removing boots. Since a Pac boot is only as good as the liner/waterproof-exterior combination, being able to retain proper shape of liner is important.
