By Mom of college student from Waterville, NY on 01/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Traction could be better Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Purchased for a college student who will be wearing them around campus in Providence, RI and on a trip to Iceland. She loves them - likes their appearance and protection from cold and wet conditions. Soles are not the best for icy surfaces - we purchased yaktrax (slip over the sole of the boot)to add traction when needed.

Don't know what I was waiting on. These boots are all you can hope for and the newer colors are a plus for those that don't want the "just came from the barn" look. I would highly recommend them. Just as an FYI - they are slightly on the heavy side.

By Holly from Mid-Michigan on 12/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Had to send back the first pair because they were HUGE! I normally wear a size 8 1/2 in boots but ordered a size 8 just in case the lining threw off the sizing. I loved the feel and style of the boots, but I'm going to order a whole size down this time! Can't wait to try them outside!
By Lorie52 from Seattle, WA on 12/18/2008 Best Uses: Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for winter water activities and walking in the snow. I've had lined rubber boots in the past that were not warm and very uncomfortable. I was so pleased with these. They were comfortable as soon as I put them on and warm the entire time on the river. Since then, I have worn them walking in the snow with light wool socks and my feet were toasty.
